Standard Movement
Use WASD or the arrow keys to move in the desired direction.
Turn
"Q" & "E" keys or left click and drag your mouse left or right.
Look Up/Down
Left click and drag your mouse up or down.
Run
Hold the "Shift" key while moving in the desired direction.
Teleportation
Right click or click using two fingers on a Touchpad, at the desired destination.
Mute / Unmute
"M" key or click the Microphone icon in the onscreen control panel.
Are you muted?
Click the Microphone icon in the control panel or press the "M" key to mute/unmute yourself.
Enable microphone access in your browser
1. Click the Microphone icon in the address bar of your browser (in Google Chrome click the Padlock icon and then the Microphone icon in the popup window).

Refresh the page
Refreshing the page may resolve intermittent audio problems. When the page reloads, check your settings in the Microphone Setup popup window:
1. Follow the prompts to Grant Microphone Permissions.
2. Make sure the "Mute My Microphone" toggle button is unmuted.
3. Mak sure that the correct microphone is selected from the drop-down menu.
4. When your microphone is working the Microphone icon will show a level when you speak (a blue indicator line rising and falling).
Switch Browsers
Switching to a different browser may resolve your audio issues. Active Replica is optimized for Chrome, Safari and Firefox (in that order of preference).
Connect or Disconnect Headphones
Connecting or disconnecting your headphones may resolve issues associated with granting mic permissions to a microphone that is not used.
Close any windows or apps you are not using
Active Replica rooms may contain complex 3D models or objects that can increase load time. Close unused windows and apps to free up memory.
Refresh the page

Flying (special permission required)
Use the "G" key to enable/disable flying.
When enabled you will fly in the direction you move. Look up or down to fly up/down. Disabling flight will cause you to land. If you get lost or stuck, refresh the page to re-spawn in the lobby.
Adjust volume of other people or objects
Place cursor on an avatar or object and hold "Space Bar" to adjust volume or view other object options.
Use Emojis
Click the React button in the control panel and choose an emoji from the popup window.
Create custom avatar
1. Click here and go through the avatar creation process.
2. When complete click the "Next" button in the top right corner.
3. Copy your avatar’s URL link to your clipboard or a text document.
Importing your custom avatar from login
1. Open your room's URL and click "Join Room".
2. In the "Avatar Setup" popup window, click "Change Avatar".
3. Click on "Avatar GLB URL" in upper right corner.
4. Paste your avatar’s URL link in the custom avatar URL popup window and click the "Apply" button.
5. Click "Accept" in the avatar settings window.

1. Click the "More" icon in the control panel.
2. Select "Change Name and Avatar" from the popup menu.
3. Click on "Change Avatar" in the Avatar Settings window.
4. Click "Avatar GLB URL" in upper right corner.
5. Paste your avatar’s URL link in the custom avatar URL popup window and click the "Apply" button.
6. Click "Accept" in the avatar settings window.
